Because not only does it support your conventional MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 encoding formats, it even does direct DV-to-DivX encoding (Which is based on the MPEG-4 codec) and WMV (Windows Media Video).

Not only that, you'll find a bevy of software in the Snazzi*DV.AVIO. These include the all important DV Studio AVIO,
